ANIMATION ARTWe buy and sell only Original Production Setups from the full length animated films of all the major animation studios: Disney, Fleischer, Bluth, Bakshi, and others. By Production Setups, we mean: Production cels on Production backgrounds. We do not sell loose cels, loose backgrounds, or setups from shorts or cartoons (with some Silly Symphonies excepted). We do not sell limited editions, sericels, serigraphs, lithographs or giclees. If it didn't go under the camera, and appear on the film, we don't carry it. Most of our Disney setups are in the $5,000 to $100,000 range; Fleischer setups are in the $3,000 to $20,000 range; and Bluth and Bakshi and setups from "Heavy Metal" in the $500 to $3,000 range. We buy all the time, and can offer you some of the highest prices in the market. We have, without a doubt, THE LARGEST INVENTORY OF SUCH SETUPS IN THE WORLD. There are collectors with more valuable setups, and more extensive holdings of a particular film; and there are dealers with a greater number of lesser pieces for sale-but there is no one else out there with as large and as varied a collection of major pieces for sale. We have, for example, nearly a half dozen major setups from "Snow White"; over a dozen (each) from "Pinocchio" and "Fantasia" and "Dumbo" and "Bambi"; and nearly two dozen setups (each!) from "Sleeping Beauty", "Lady and the Tramp" and "Peter Pan". These are all production cels, on production BGs-and many are key. We have setups from all the films: "Aristocats", "Robin Hood", and "Black Cauldron" all the way to "Aladdin", "Lion King" and "Mulan". In Fleischer we have major setups from "Gulliver", and "Mr. Bugs". In Bluth we have key setups from "American Tail", "NIMH", "All Dogs", "Land Before Time", "Troll In Central Park", "Rock-A-Doodle", and "Thumbelina". From Bakshi we have "Cool World", "Wizards", "Lord of the Rings", "Coonskin", and "American Pop". And from "Heavy Metal" we have setups from nearly all the segments-including major ones from the "Taarna" and "Den" sequences. What this means is that, if you are a dealer or a gallery, we can provide you with major, top- notch selections from virtually every major animated feature film. If you have collectors, or you are a collector, for significant pieces to add to your collection, you can come to one source no matter which film is your specialty. And, given our sterling reputation, and impeccable references, you can deal with us in confidence. However, our prices are not cheap, and we buy only the best. We have, however, hundreds of setups, and a constantly changing inventory-which makes it difficult to put out any sort of catalogue or price list. Although we plan in the not-too-near future to put up a website with many of our pieces, even that won't have all of the collection. What we have been doing, and will continue to do, is to send to interested parties e-mails with jpeg images: small ones at first, to gauge initial interest-to be followed with life-size jpegs or with full color laser prints, if interest warrants. (The small jpgs are usually under 30Kb, with the full-sized ones up to 5Mb.) While we are primarily wholesalers, who sell to dealers and galleries, we also offer select pieces, at collector prices, to serious collectors interested in adding major pieces to their collections. Also, if you are a dealer or a collector, and have such pieces to sell, please send us a photo, a color laser, or a jpg e-mail for us to evaluate. We will then get back to you with our offer. Please remember though, that we are only interested in full color works from feature films. No sketches, prelims, drawings or B&W work of any kind. No cartoons, no shorts. If you are a gallery or a dealer, and have select customers interested in prime pieces, please contact us for images to show to them. We will then provide you with our gallery/dealer prices, and provide you with jpg images that you can show to your customers, and then follow up those images with full color, full size lasers on those pieces in which your customers show a particular interest. We will then sell you any piece(s) of your choice, with a full money-back satisfaction guarantee, for up to 30 days. You can show the piece to your client, or keep the piece in your inventory for up to a full month, and return it if you don't sell it. Your only non- refundable expense is the cost of shipping the piece(s) both ways. The piece must be returned in the same condition as it was when it left us. You can deal with us in full confidence, and we are happy to provide you with our references- which include all the major auction houses, and major dealers on both the East and West coasts. In fact, a good number of the major pieces you have seen at auction, and in many of the major dealers across the country, have passed through our hands. We look forward to your inquiries, but ask that you excuse us, because of our extensive travels, if we do not respond right away. The best way to reach us is to fax, write, or e-mail us of your interests or offers. (It is difficult for us to return phone calls, especially if we are out of the country.) We usually respond within 48hrs, but on occasion it may take a week or more to get back to you. Please bear with us, though-we always respond to legitimate offers, on the types of animation artwork in which we specialize. If you can, please try to send an image of the piece(s) in question with your first inquiry. May we please hear from you, soon, if you have such interests?
